Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 26, 2026
Down the Line ("the game") is made by Niv Rakocz. This policy explains what the game collects and why. In short: nothing personal, and anonymous play data only if you agree.
What we do not collect
The game does not ask for or collect your name, email address, contacts, photos, precise location or any account details. There are no ads, and the game does not track you across other apps or websites.
Anonymous play data - only with your consent
The first time you open the game it asks whether you want to share anonymous play data. If you choose No thanks, nothing is sent. If you choose Yes, the game sends, through Unity Analytics:
- How you play: which mode you choose, how each wave ends, its score and length, lessons passed and demos watched, and heat results.
- Technical information: a random ID created for the game on your device (not linked to you), device model, operating system and game version, and the country, worked out from your connection.
We use this only to understand how the game is played and to improve it. We do not sell it, and we do not use it for advertising.
Unity Technologies processes this data for us. See Unity's Game Player and App User Privacy Policy.
Data stored on your device
Your progress, best scores and settings are saved on your iPhone only. Deleting the game deletes them.
Your choices
You can stop sharing play data at any time by deleting the game, and you can ask us to delete play data linked to your device's random ID by emailing us.
Children
The game is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update this page and the date above.
